School Structure and Curriculum

The school consists of three (3) sub groups:

Junior School Kindergarten to Year 5

Middle School Years 6, 7, and 8

Senior School Years 9 and 10 and Year 11 and 12

Our structure is one that assists the 'transition' between each of the schools, especially as the student moves into the early teenage years, hence the development of our middle school. Please read our publication 'What is a Middle School?' which provides information on our Middle School.

Having completed their schooling at WCCS, students will be well equipped to continue their education elsewhere. Year 10 students will sit for the NSW School Certificate exams as all teaching programs meet the NSW Board of Studies for each stage. Year 12 students will sit for the Higher School Certificate which represents the highest level of scholastic achievement in the New South Wales Education System.

DISCIPLINE Working 'in partnership' with the teaching staff, parents play a vital role in the encouragement, support, effective nurture and discipline of their children.
At WCCS, we discipline our students on the basis of a relationship of love, founded on a Biblical understanding of the nature of the child (and ourselves). Our goal is that they may grow up into all things of Christ, attaining spiritual maturity through a process of planned discipling in which the school, church and home all work in partnership.
