Today we had the pleasure of hosting our Junior School Grandparents' Morning.
The day began with Chapel run by our Year 2 students. Our Principal, Mr Darren Milligan, shared about God's gift of Grace, drawing upon the wisdom found in Ephesians 2:8-9.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
After Chapel, the grandparents had the opportunity to visit their grandchildren's classrooms, and participate in some fun activities. .
One of the highlights of the morning is always morning tea, where the grandparents enjoyed delicious cakes, sandwiches, and snacks. Laughter and conversations filled the air as grandparents, parents, teachers, and students gathered to share stories and create lasting memories.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the grandparents, godparents and grand-friends who joined us for this occasion, making it a true celebration of family, faith, and community. Events like these not only enrich the lives of our students but also strengthen the bonds that make WCCS a wonderful community.
