Library Services

Our Library is open from 8:30am until 4pm each day. Students are able to borrow books on a two-week loan from a wide-range of genres including:

• Action and Adventure
• Animals
• Biographies
• Classics
• Crime and Mystery
• Faith
• Fantasy
• Friendship
• Historical Fiction
• Humour
• Sport

Junior School students come into the Library each week for their Library Lesson. During this time they borrow books, read for the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge, learn researching skills and participate in activities around literature.

All students have access to digital library resources including World Book and Wheelers eBooks.

Throughout the year we celebrate Book Week with Literacy Day. A whole school parade in the morning and then Junior School spend the rest of the day reading the CBCA shortlist books. We compete in a regional BookQuiz Challenge. There are many activities for the students to be involved in during lunchtimes with a Lego Challenge, Maker Space, chess, puzzles and games.
