Secondary School Extension & High Potential

In Secondary School, we offer a range of High Potential and Extension Programs to cater for our students' needs. High Potential Learners are provided with the opportunity to work with like-minded students, so they can be challenged appropriately. This includes both in-class differentiation and extension withdrawal lessons, which are designed in response to our students’ observed talents and strengths. Students gifted in the Creative Arts are auditioned and then invited to be part of a Working Beyond Years 7 and 8 class.

Our Secondary students enjoy participating in a variety of competitions and enrichment programs, including AMT Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, Mathematics Olympiad, Da Vinci Decathlon, Debating, Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) and the Science and Engineering Challenge. In addition, students are invited to extend themselves in areas of personal interest, through participation in our major Science Fair and Evening of Eminence projects.

Below are a few exciting opportunities for students in Years 7-12 to consider being a part of throughout the year.
